This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar browser technologies are used on the Rentevia website, why they are used and how long they may remain active. It applies to the public marketing website at rentevia.com.
The Rentevia booking platform may use additional technical storage required for authentication, security, bookings, payments or operator dashboards. Those technical tools should be documented separately where the platform is made available to rental operators and their customers.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, allow a website to remember information in your browser. These technologies may be used to make a website work, remember preferences, secure forms, measure usage or support marketing and analytics tools.
Cookie categories
Necessary storage is used for basic website functions and cannot be disabled from the Rentevia cookie banner. This includes remembering your language and cookie choices and supporting website security. Analytics storage is optional and is used only after consent to measure visits, traffic sources and contact form conversions in aggregate.
Rentevia currently does not intentionally load advertising or retargeting cookies on the public website. If advertising, embedded media, chat widgets or additional tracking tools are added in the future, this policy and the cookie banner should be updated before or when those tools are activated.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is provided by Google. It helps Rentevia understand how visitors use the website, which pages are visited, which traffic sources are relevant and whether the contact form is working effectively. Analytics storage is disabled until consent is granted. If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded by the website.
Google may process analytics data on servers outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Rentevia should configure analytics in a privacy-conscious way and avoid using analytics data to identify individual visitors unless this is legally permitted and properly disclosed.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the website from spam and automated abuse. Turnstile is a security technology and may process technical signals needed to verify that a form submission is legitimate. The Turnstile secret key is kept server-side and is not exposed in the website code.
Changing your choice
You can accept, reject or customize analytics cookies from the cookie banner. After making a choice, use the Cookie preferences button shown on the website to change or withdraw consent. You can also clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage. If you disable necessary storage, some website functions may not work correctly, including language preferences, cookie preferences or form security checks.
Third-party policies
Third-party providers may process data according to their own privacy documentation. Relevant providers may include Google Analytics and Cloudflare. You should review their privacy information if you want to understand how they process data as independent providers.
Changes to this policy
This Cookie Policy should be reviewed whenever new analytics, advertising, embedded content, form security tools, integrations or platform cookies are added. The cookie list should remain aligned with the tools actually deployed in production.
